IBM SPSS statistics (V. 26.0, IBM Corp., USA, 2019) was used for data analysis. Data were expressed as median and percentiles for quantitative non-parametric measures and both number and percentage for categorized data.
The data were processed and analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 13.0). An extensive description of the population of juvenile sex offenders was done with descriptive statistics. Differences between subgroups were analyzed using Chi-square tests (or Fisher exact test if necessary) in the case of categorical variables. ANOVAs (Analysis of variance) or student's t-tests were used in the case of continuous variables.
